Google’s captchas drive me fkn nuts. Can’t handle it anymore. Any other good search engines that don’t want to fk you over for wanting privacy?

I call it the Russian Google.
It also gives you better, relevant results that are often censored on Google or overridden by paid ads/SEO efforts.

It might get you to occasionally fill out a captcha if you're using a super popular VPN, but their threshold is much higher than Google's at least. I find that switching to a less commonly used VPN location is the strategy against captchas in general.

I think I get it because I use private relay too. My wifi gets captcha’d more than any other connection. When I get more than two captchas despite passing them I know they’re not letting me in. They just keep throwing the captchas at me.

You'd think that with the widespread use of VPN's that they'd use cookies or some other tracking metric to determine whether someone is truly a spammer/sending excessive requests, as opposed to blanketing everyone using the same VPN as a spammer who must now fill out a captcha.
